11-30-09

Thanksgiving was great! We had District Meeting in the morning and then we went to Bishop Nielson's house for lunch (he's the Bishop over the Sandia Ward) which was way fun. Then we had dinner at a less-active member's home. That was great fun 2!
We are very fortunate here in these wards. We get fed almost everynight. It's great. We are blessed.
Elder Smith is from Taylorsville Utah and has 4 sisters. He, like me, came out after he graduated high school. Thanks so much for the package of the thermals and apples! The apples are wonderful.
Elder Smith from VA went from here to Belin.
The group that returned home left early because of Thanksgiving and thus I didn't get to see Elder Besler off. He did give me a posterity tie which I am so happy about!!
Thanks for the prayers for our investigators, they are needed. We have a baptismal date coming up for the 12th of Dec with a single brother named Frankie. His girlfriend is a member and that's how he came to know about the church.
I do like busy but sometimes it reaches the point of overwhelming.
I got a letter from dad and he said the '84 ranger is no longer around. That makes me very sad. It's ok, though. What happens happens.
I got a letter from a member of the Branch but the letter had been opened and was missing! Not sure what happened there.
