Ah, I'm jealous that you guys get to go to the pageant. Everyone asks about that out here when I tell them I'm from NY.
The new converts in Farmington I spoke of are Bro. Roddy and Williams Their is also a lady whose name escapes me now, ah man.
To my knowledge the lightening storms which made national new didn't do any damage. We sat outside and took pictures of the lightning on Elder Thompson's camera.
As for transfer news both Elder Thompson and myself are staying in Edgewood. Elder Cooper is coming down from Farmington to be in Estancia with Elder Mier. Sister Marchant is leaving for Shiprock and Sister Anderson is coming to be with Sister Wheatherston. Yep and Elder Garcia is going to Indian School.
I also have some other news but not to make you worry. It is mostly all right. Last night I had an accident with the truck. I was backing out of driveway and well I clipped a railroad tie that they make into fences out here. It slightly disfigured the bumper, bumper guard, and quarter panel. We reported it and everything so yep, ya that's about it =(
Well on a happier note Bro. Morgart's baptism went very well indeed. There was about 70- 80 people there and the spirit was way strong! It was the shortest one that I've attended, only about 35 to 40 min. but one of the best. The only thing that could have been better is that the water could have been little cooler.
Elder Thompson and myself filled the font and b/c it was our first time here we filled it a little warm, about 106 degrees by what Elder Thompson's watch said before we started putting in the cold water. We were only able to bring it down to 95or so before the font was full and we couldn't add anymore. In Elder Thomson's words "That's people cooking temperature." So ya, other than that it was great.
This Saturday is Pioneer Day and the stake out here gets together and holds a huge picnic. We can go if we have an investigator.
Ya so all's good in Edgewood.
