Last night I got a call from President Anderson telling me that I was being ET (Emergancy Transfered) out of the area and was heading to Taos, NM. The reason is that one of the trainees (just new to the mission field) up there has been having some severe medical problems and is having to come down here to be closer to Albq. for treatment. He would lake my place and I his. So I started packing my bags bc I would be leaving today.
I then received another call from President A. a little later telling me that we are holding on that plan bc they are going to decide today whether they need to send the sick Elder home or down here. They have to get direction from Church HQ so I am not moving yet, but still may be. I'm just waiting on a call. I have 1/2 my bags packed and am afraid to unpack them so there is just stuff all over our place.
An interesting day is right. I am like freaking out with energy or something. Last night we couldn't get to sleep bc we had so much energy so we went out and star gazed a bit which was cool, but it was just a little to cloudy and the moon was a little to bright.
I am not worrying about staying or leaving. I've found that over the many transfers, what is going to happen will happen whether I want it to or not, so I stopped making predictions.
On P-days we have been getting together with others from our district. The Elders in Estancia and the Sisters. The District Leader & companion is in Albq so they don't come out on P-Days. We play tennis, Bocce Ball, P-Ball, B-Ball, and whatever else we feel like doing.
We use the laundry at the member's house so we don't have to go to the laundromat.
Our ward mission leader is Bro. Krause and he is a great guy and eager to help.
Finding new apartments is taken care of by the mission office.
We may not be staying at the Somerville's house much longer so it may be beneficial to send mail to the Mission Office and they will forward it to where ever we may be.
Hope all is going well! I'm doing great out here! Tell everyone I said hello. Oh and
tomorrow is my 11th month mark! Wow, it's flying.
HRS. LATER
I got a call from President Anderson a bit ago and I am now staying here in Edgewood. The ill missionary is going home for a time for treatment. All the energy I had all day is gone and I have to work now to think straight. Man its going to be a long night!
