Here's a picture of my new companion, a member's grandson and our investigator. The boy in the blue shirt is Dieter. He was originally going to be baptized this Saturday, but his dad has just come out and said that he has to wait 3 months. So we don't have anyone with a date anymore.
For our Christmas letter just write up a general note about me doing great in NM and loving the mission, but missing everyone. kk

So. California, Idaho, and Oregon.
Last Monday we went bowling and I scored a 147. I was very happy.
The City View Ward Elders are Spanish speaking.
We ride bikes and buses. The city is just like awesome! Both Elder Condie and I agree.
Talked with a member last night whose last name is Greenwood. We couldn't find a direct connection but I got some of his genealogy and maybe you can find the connection.

New Mexico State Flag
The yellow field and red symbol colors are the colors of Spain. First brought to New Mexico by Spanish explorers in 1540. On New Mexico's flag we see a red sun with rays streching out from it. There are four groups of rays with four rays in each group. This is an ancient sun symbol of a Native American people called the Zia. The Zia believed that the giver of all good gave them gifts in groups of four. These gifts are:
The four directions - north, east, south and west.
The four seasons - spring, summer, fall and winter.
The day - sunrise, noon, evening and night.
Life itself - childhood, youth, middle years and old age.
All of these are bound by a circle of life and love, without a beginning or end.
